UNICEF is hiring a senior consultant for 9 months to help the Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF) design and roll out an integrated social and behaviour change (SBC) strategy for PSSN III (Imarisha Kaya). The work covers nutrition, responsive caregiving, early childhood development, adolescent and youth advancement, and economic inclusion. The role is mostly remote, with missions to Tanzania. Requirements
Design an integrated SBC strategy and implementation tools. Build SBC capacity within TASAF structures. Support rollout and institutionalisation of SBC approaches. Develop creative concepts and oversee production. Work with government partners on implementation.
Qualifications
Master's degree in communication, anthropology, community psychology, social marketing or a related field. At least 15 years in strategic communication and social and behaviour change, including 5–10 years designing and implementing SBC interventions. Leadership experience in developing-country contexts, preferably in Africa. Fluent English. Social protection and government partnership experience is an advantage.
